PeopleSoft, Inc. (Nasdaq:PSFT) today announced the general availability of a pre-built solution that connects PeopleSoft(R) Enterprise Human Capital Management (HCM) Payroll to the SAP General Ledger

The PeopleSoft HCM Payroll Process Integration Pack can speed implementation times from months to weeks by delivering the required levels of integration. In addition, the Process Integration Pack includes data transformation, routing, cross-reference maps, connectors, and adapters that ease integration across business processes.

With this advanced functionality, PeopleSoft provides customers with single-vendor accountability for installation, maintenance, and upgrades to the integrated solution. PeopleSoft will maintain the business process integration as customers upgrade either their PeopleSoft Payroll or SAP General Ledger applications.

The pre-built Payroll Process Integration Pack leverages the AppConnect platform to deliver seamless integration at the business-process level. PeopleSoft Process Integration Packs for other business critical functions are also available to support the integration of PeopleSoft Customer Relationship Management and Supplier Relationship Management to the other back-office ERP systems.

PeopleSoft is addressing the needs of customers that require integration of Enterprise HCM Payroll with EnterpriseOne General Ledger with pre-integration functionality. The pre-integration offers thorough integration by synchronizing master files between the two systems that are necessary to maintain data integrity. This pre-integration will significantly increase customers ROI with PeopleSoft applications.

PeopleSoft's HCM Payroll Process Integration Pack is currently available. The pre-integration of PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Payroll with PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne General Ledger will be available in March 2004.
