Procuri Launches Supply Management Excellence Awards; Elite Panel of Judges to Recognize...

SAN DIEGO -- To honor companies that have achieved excellence in supply management performance, Procuri today opened the nominations for the 1st Annual Supply Management Excellence Awards.

The Supply Management Excellence Awards will be issued in four categories: Overall Supply Management Excellence, Excellence in Strategic Sourcing, Excellence in Contract and Compliance Management, and Excellence in Supplier Management. Recognizing results achieved using Procuri's On Demand supply management solutions, winners will demonstrate measurable results in several ways, such as hard dollar savings, efficiency or process improvements, or faster time-to-market.

Companies honored with the Procuri Supply Management Excellence Awards will have met the following criteria: impact and alignment with corporate business objectives; enterprise-wide process standardization and best practices; cross-department and supplier collaboration; measurable cost, performance, and process improvements; and a commitment to continuously advance supply management performance.

This year's judging panel is comprised of seasoned supply management leaders and influencers, including:

--Tim Cummins, president, International Association for Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM)

--Doug Smock, co-author of Straight to the Bottom Line, founder of globalcpo.com and former chief editor of Purchasing and Plastics World magazines

--Jason Busch, managing partner, Azul Partners and founder of www.spendmatters.com

--Tim Minahan, SVP of marketing for Procuri and former AberdeenGroup analyst
