MINNEAPOLIS -- Global Wins Continue Momentum for Procuri and On Demand Model
Building on an extremely successful 2005, Procuri announced today that it added more new customers, expansions and renewals in the first quarter 2006. Procuri also expanded its executive team and continues to win industry awards. Highlights include:
--19 New Customers will be using Procuri's solutions to help drive enterprise supply management excellence, including Cole-Taylor Bank, JM Family Enterprises Inc. and Kobalt.
--7 Expansion Contracts - Expanding on the cost savings and performance returns of their initial investments, seven customers added new Procuri modules or additional users include Branch Banking & Trust Corporation (BB&T), UPM-Kymmene and The McGraw-Hill Companies.
--13 Customer Renewals - Continuing the company's exceptional customer retention rate, customers that renewed their agreements with Procuri include Miller Brewing Company, RSI Home Products, Scientific Atlanta and U.S. Steel.
Contributing to Procuri's momentum this quarter was the announcement of Tim Minahan joining the company as senior vice president of marketing. Minahan joined Procuri on March 1, after having built AberdeenGroup's Supply Management Research practice into one of the most influential industry analyst firms. As Aberdeen's chief services officer, he defined the firm's research focus on critical supply management and technology issues, from contract management to strategic sourcing as well as the specific challenges and opportunities of the growing mid-market.
Procuri Recognized for Superior Revenue Results and Supply Management Excellence
Procuri marked the start of 2006 with two major award recognitions. As in 2005, business and trade organizations recognized Procuri's critical role in the supply management industry and continued revenue growth and expansion:
--Atlanta Business Chronicle 11th Annual Pacesetter Awards- For the last two years, Procuri has been named one of Atlanta's fastest-growing privately held companies by The Atlanta Business Chronicle. The regional business publication annually publishes a listing of 50 companies distinguished by dramatic revenue and employee growth within the community. As a result of its drive for success and continued customer acquisition, Procuri has experienced 70 percent year-over-year revenue growth the past three years, leading to this recognition.
--Supply & Demand Chain Executive Pros to Know - In the sixth annual Pros to Know issue, Supply & Demand Chain Executive highlighted executives who have made significant contributions and advancements in the supply chain field. For the last two years, Procuri executives have been recognized with this award. This year, Procuri's SVP of Professional Services, Jody Sommer, is honored on this elite list as an agent of change as she continually drives excellence in supply management to Procuri's 350+ customers.
"Coming off of a very successful year in 2005, the momentum we have set in this first quarter promises for an even more successful 2006 for Procuri," said Mark Morel, Procuri's president and CEO. "The demand for supply management excellence has never been more apparent.
