LP Names Neil Sherman Vice President of Procurement, Logistics and Supply Management.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Louisiana-Pacific Corporation (LP) (NYSE: LPX) announced today that it has named Neil Sherman as vice president of procurement, logistics and supply management. Sherman replaces Brian Luoma, who recently was named vice president and general manager of LP's engineered wood

products business.

Sherman joined LP in 1994, and most recently served as director, business development and corporate real estate. Sherman holds a Bachelor of Science in Waste and Waste Water Management from Humboldt State University in Arcata, Calif.

"Neil has very strong leadership and strategic management skills that will enhance the performance of this skilled group of managers and employees," said Curt Stevens, executive vice president of administration and chief financial officer. "As we enter a period of slower building activity, we will need to continue working more strategically with our major supplier partners to be as cost effective as possible."
