First AGUA Conference Scheduled for October 10-12, 2007, in Pasadena, CA
ATLANTA -- Aldata Solution, Inc., a leading provider of software solutions for the retail industry, today announced the formation of the American chapter of its G.O.L.D. User Association (GUA) - the American G.O.L.D.
"As founding Chairman of the AGUA, I'll work with Aldata customers in North America to identify the business processes and challenges that can best be addressed through enhancements to the Aldata Core Retail Suite," said Kim Means. "I'll also coordinate with the global GUA to communicate American customer recommendations and best practices and in turn bring their global insight back to our constituency."
Building on the success of the global GUA, the AGUA provides an American forum to address the needs of an active and growing community of American retailers who have implemented the Aldata G.O.L.D. Core Retail Suite. Participation in the GUA provides both American and international Aldata customers with an effective way to collaborate on resolutions for common and complex supply chain related issues. Inaugural members of the AGUA include Elephant Pharm, Giant Eagle, MCA Logistics, Smart & Final, Trader Joe's and United Supermarkets.
"The opportunity to extend the GUA to include North American retailers is especially timely as more of our members operate on a global basis," said Hubert Carpentier, Chairman of the global GUA. "We look forward to receiving a fresh perspective on the American marketplace and expect that our established exchange of ideas and experiences will be helpful to all Aldata customers."
GUA participants can directly influence development of the Aldata G.O.L.D. Core Retail Suite. Their input and perspective on current supply chain challenges ensures that Aldata continually aligns improvements to its global software and service offerings with real business needs.
