World Wide Technology Among North America's Fastest Growing Technology Companies; WWT Ranks...

ST. LOUIS -- World Wide Technology, Inc. (WWT) a market-leading systems integrator that provides innovative technology and supply chain solutions, announced today it has been named to the prestigious 2005 Deloitte Technology Fast 500. The exclusive and carefully audited Deloitte Technology Fast

500 list ranks the 500 fastest-growing technology companies in North America. With a dramatic five-year growth rate of 639 percent, WWT ranks number 248 on the list.

The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 ranking is just one of many honors WWT has received in 2005. The company has also been named by Washington Technology magazine as one of the Top 100 Federal Prime Contractors in IT; ranked 45 in the VAR Business 500; honored by Computer Reseller News as one of its Fast Growth 100; and named to Diversity Business' annual listing of the Top 500 diversity owned companies.

"We congratulate World Wide Technology on being one of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in North America," said Tony Kern, deputy national managing principal of Deloitte's Technology, Media & Telecommunications industry practice. "Because the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 measures sustained revenue growth over five years, being included in the rankings is an impressive achievement."

The Fast 500 list is compiled from Deloitte's 15 regional North American Fast 50 lists, nominations submitted directly to the Fast 500, and public company database research. To qualify for the Fast 500, entrants must have had 2000 operating revenues of at least $50,000 USD or $75,000 CD for the United States and Canada, respectively, and 2004 operating revenues of at least $1 million USD or CD. Entrants must be headquartered in North America and must be a "technology company," defined as a company that owns proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology in a unique way does not qualify. The rankings are based on percentage revenue growth over five years, from 2000-2004.

"We are extremely honored to be one of the outstanding organizations included on this year's Technology Fast 500," said Robert Olwig, vice president of business strategy for WWT. "This honor along with the other awards and recognition we have received this year is a direct reflection of the hard work and commitment of our employees and a testament to our philosophy of delivering customer value, growing and developing our employees and strategically investing in new technology and services such as our expanding suite of supply chain management solutions."
