Arch Chemicals Announces Price Increase for Densil Family of Industrial Biocides.

NORWALK, Conn. -- Due to price increases for raw materials as well as higher costs throughout the supply chain, including regulatory compliance, Arch Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:ARJ) will be increasing worldwide pricing by 5 percent for its Densil(R) Chlorothalonil-based biocides for paints, coatings

and building-product applications, effective March 1, 2005, or as contracts allow.
