Toyota Material Handling Europe has unveiled the Toyota Toner?, a new range of engine-powered forklifts designed specifically for the European market. Already the world leader in internal combustion (IC) counterbalanced trucks, Toyota will

set new standards in safety, productivity, durability, comfort and environmental performance with the launch of the Toner?. Available in seven models with load capacities ranging from 1.5-3.5 tonnes and offering a choice of diesel or LPG engines, the Toyota Toner? is being launched following extensive research and development and consultation with European customers.

The Toyota Toner? offers a range of class-leading safety features, including enhanced visibility for drivers when the forks are at ground level, at lorry bed height and at maximum height, thanks to a new overhead guard and mast design and lowered dashboard. The Toner? also offers world-class Toyota safety technologies, including the System of Active Stability (SAS), which dynamically protects both driver and load, and Operator Presence Sensing (OPS), which only allows truck operation if the driver is seated. The Toyota Toner? delivers unparalleled productivity and power with heavy-duty diesel and LPG engines designed and manufactured by Toyota specifically for forklifts.
