VADM Keith W. Lippert, SC, USN, retired from the Navy July 14 during a ceremony at the McNamara Headquarters Complex at Fort Belvoir, Va. Lippert relinquished his command as Director of the DLA six days short of five full years since he took the agency's helm, making him the longest-serving person in that position.
