DON eBusiness Operations Office announces third round of FY 2003 pilot projects.(News You Can...

The Department of the Navy (DON) eBusiness Operations Office has announced $4 million in funding for its next portfolio of fiscal year 2003 eBusiness pilot projects. Projects range from automated procurement to operational readiness. The line-up includes the following six pilots:

--Joint Expeditionary Warfare Logistics for the Marine Corps, Port Hueneme, Calif. This initiative will demonstrate joint interoperability by providing total asset visibility on data from various Naval Construction Division systems into the existing web-enabled USMC Common Logistics Command and
