A primer on repeatability, reproducibility

The whole idea of quality management is to prevent defects. If you prevent a defect, you don't need to explain it, document it, identify it, meet over it, ship it or pay for it. There are many tools available to the quality professional to prevent defects. Statistical Process Control (SPC) is one popular tool.
