GE Plastics Plant Chief in Biloxi, Miss., Has 'Black Belt' in Quality Control.

Sep. 17--PEARLINGTON, Miss.--Don't mess with Tracy Scott, general manager at the GE Plastics plant for the past four months.

He's got a black belt. A master black belt at that. But this is not the fightin' variety. It's the quality control variety -- six-sigma to be precise.

"GE was rolling out six-sigma and they were just adopting it. And I wanted to be a part of that," Scott said about his decision to join up with GE.
