Strategic Distribution Division.(Highlights)

The Naval Logistics Operational Support Center established a Strategic Distribution Division (SDD) capability in January 2004. One of the primary objectives of the Strategic Distribution team is to analyze and improve strategic linkage of intra-theater distribution processes.

SDD is aligned to the joint United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) venture to redesign, streamline, and optimize the Department of Defense global distribution system through best business practices in supply chain management.
