SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 10, 1999--
NetDIVE Today Announced That the Next Version of
CallSite 4.0 Will be Released On Sept. 30
CallSite is a client/server system (in Java) for enabling Web based customer service & call center. CallSite 4.0 extends NetDIVE's dominance
Some new features of CallSite 4.0 which truly make it the "Killer App" are:
1. Instant Voice communication. CallSite 4.0 is the only Web based
customer service & call center system that enables instant Voice
communication. That is unlike similar products from such
companies as Net2Phone (Nasdaq:NTOP). NetDIVE's CallSite requires
no installation of any software before the customer is able to
communicate with Voice with the company representative (aka
Agent). Only CallSite 4.0 from NetDIVE can make this claim.
2. Instant interactive Slide show presentation. As the saying goes,
a picture is worth a thousand words and the Slide presentation of
CallSite is the best and the most practical way for a company
representative (Agent) to take the customer on a visual tour by
showing him/her immersive images. With the Slide presentation
feature of CallSite 4.0 the Agent will be able to zoom-in,
zoom-out, pan-right & pan-left within an image and the Customer
will see the same instantly on his computer. For example, a real
estate Agent will be able to show the ins & outs of a property to
a Customer while talking with him/her at the same time.
3. Instant whiteboard. The Agent and Customer will be able to
communicate via free hand drawing on a white board or over an
image loaded by the Agent. For example, a tech support Agent can
draw on the image of the item that the Customer has questions
about all the while talking with them in Voice or Text.
4. WebTouring. The Agent can take the Customer on a tour of whatever
Web pages (sites) that he chooses, in which case the Customers
Web browser will instantly point to the same URL as that
designated by the Agent.
And much much more.
In a nut shell, CallSite 4.0 allows the user to embed a customer service and call center system into their Web pages, but unlike a regular customer service and call center system it will allow the user to communicate with their customers in many other modes of communication than just voice and plus the fact that the Voice communication will not cost the user a penny either.
This means that a Website that is enabled with CallSite 4.0 stands to generate more sales, have more satisfied customers and reduce the business' overall cost of communication.
Web site owners owe it to themselves, to their business and to their share holders to add a CallSite system to their Web site. But why take our word, they can examine CallSite 4.0 for themselves and see how CallSite 4.0 will make their business more successful.
CallSite 4.0 can be purchased as a single seat system for a single Web site or as an ISP/ASP class systems for ISPs/ASPs to provide it as Web based out-sourced service. The single seat version of CallSite 4.0 starts from $699 per Agent for a minimum 10 Agent system plus a 20% Annual Subscription fee.
The ISP/ASP version of CallSite 4.0 is priced on a case by case basis with a minimum 3 year contract and starting price of $250K.
CallSite 4.0 runs on the following Operating Systems: IBM AIX (NYSE:IBM), Sun Microsystems Solaris (Nasdaq:SUNW), Microsoft NT & 95 (Nasdaq:MSFT) and seamlessly connects to databases from Oracle (Nasdaq:ORCL), Informix (Nasdaq:IFMX) & Sybase (Nasdaq:SYBS) for back end related tasks. CallSite is also available and optimized to run on the freely available Linux Operating System and the Apache Web server.
