USA Group Selects LivePerson Technology for Real-TimeCustomer Service On the Web.

USA Group(R), the nation's largest guarantor/administrator of education loans selected LivePerson, Inc. (Nasdaq: LPSN), a leading application service provider (ASP) of technology that facilitates real-time

sales and customer service for companies doing business on the Internet, to provide live online customer service on its College InfoSource Web site (www.usagroup.com/collegeinfosource).

The LivePerson real-time chat technology enables college-bound and current students and their parents to instantaneously communicate with education loan experts through the College InfoSource site. USA Group's College InfoSource provides complete, straightforward college aid information from the nation's most experienced source.

Through LivePerson's technology, USA Group has conducted several hundred live chat sessions on CollegeInfo Source in its first two months of operation. This live, personal access gives college-bound students and their parents quick answers to pressing questions, such as how to: find free money; plan for the future; and understand and maneuver through the financial aid process. Visitors to the College InfoSource Web site can chat online with USA Group's education loan experts between noon and 9 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
