CCI/Triad, the leading provider of technology solutions to the automotive aftermarket, hardlines and lumber industries, today announced the availability of advanced remote training for PRISM(tm) automotive store

systems.

"Many automotive store customers can't afford the time and expense required to send their employees to additional training classes, which are costly and require key staff members to be away for days at a time," said Jim Pawlik, product manager, CCI/Triad. "To address this need, the PRISM advanced remote training sessions are held remotely at the customer's store, and several employees can attend for one low price. This boosts store productivity and allows stores to get the most system benefit."

The CCI/Triad PRISM software handles most aspects of an automotive aftermarket store's business and includes many tools to help them become more profitable. The software, used by thousands of stores, takes care of inventory, pricing, purchasing, invoicing, accounting and business analysis. Advanced remote training is $495 per class for an entire store staff.

Pawlik said PRISM customers often learn basic system operation during initial system installation, but don't have the opportunity to learn about additional capabilities and techniques that increase the benefit from their system investment. He said the advanced training classes are easy to schedule since they're conducted live over the phone during two, two-hour sessions. The instructor is able to demonstrate the operations remotely on the customer's system.

Employees will be taught functions and techniques that allow them to perform repetitive tasks faster and allow them extra time to focus on store sales rather than on clerical tasks. The initial advanced training classes include Order Point Calculation, Advanced Purchasing, Price Updating and Manipulation, and Streamlined Inter Location Transfers.
