nStor Technologies (AMEX:NSO) announced today the appointment of Thomas G. Wrightson as Vice President Manufacturing and Services.
Mr. Wrightson joins nStor from Storage Technology Corporation of Louisville, Colorado, where he held the position of Director, Support Services Development and Management. He joined Storage Technology in 1991 as Director, OEM/Indirect and held a number of management positions.
In announcing the appointment, Larry Hemmerich, President and Chief Executive Officer of nStor, said, "Tom Wrightson brings to nStor over 25 years of IT industry experience. He has a firm knowledge of quality assurance, manufacturing engineering and customer service. He is a major addition to our management team and will be instrumental in helping us position ourselves as a major solutions supplier for the SAN market. Tom's experience in customer services will help position nStor as a full value chain supplier."
Prior to joining Storage Technology, Mr. Wrightson was Director of Customer Service for Cipher Data Products, Inc., San Diego. He began his career with NCR Engineering & Manufacturing, San Diego.
Mr. Wrightson holds a B.S. Degree in Industrial Technology from San Diego State University.
