Torrent Systems, Inc. (Torrent(R)), a leading provider of enterprise analytic Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions, today announced the appointment of Marni Hoyle to vice president of marketing.

Hoyle previously led the marketing efforts at NewsEdge Corporation--from start-up through successful IPO--helping to build the company into an $80 million market leader. As the ninth employee at NewsEdge, a global provider of electronic news and business information, she grew and managed a marketing team, directed the licensing of news from over 100 content providers, including Dow Jones, Reuters, and AP, and drove strategic relationships with Microsoft, IBM, Lotus Development, Northern Light and Seibel Systems. She also oversaw the product and marketing integration of two acquired companies, Individual Inc. and ADP/ISS.
