Local Law Firm Leads National Satisfaction Survey.

Dallas-based Jenkens & Gilchrist has been named one of the top 10 best law firms to work for in the country in a survey just released in the Vault Guide to the Top 100 Law Firms. The publication used a

Jenkens ranked 6th in overall quality of life, 2nd in hours, 5th in satisfaction and 6th in associate/partner relationships. The publication noted that "Jenkens emphasizes a balance between work and leisure time."

Associates were asked to rate their firms on a 1 to 10 scale for each of several quality-of- life categories. The editors then analyzed an initial list of 149 firms using a formula that weighted the most relevant categories for an overall quality-of-life ranking.
