Maruka U.S.A. Receives Fadal Certification for "Excellence in Customer Service"

Maruka U.S.A., Lee's Summit, Missouri, was honored March 8th when it was certified by the Fadal machine tool company for "Excellence in Customer Service."

Paul Stokes, Fadal distributor representative, said the certification received by Maruka U.S.A. was very difficult to achieve and that Maruka had exceeded the requirements. "Only a handful of distributors have passed our certification requirements," noted Stokes.

Certification is based on quite a number of factors including: how many hours of classes and training service employees have received; their years of actual experience in service work; the number and variety of parts that are continually stocked; the distributor's ability to offer immediate service at the customer's plant (this involves service vans); how the distributor takes responsibility overall and how it deals with the public.

While Maruka has received many awards from various companies, this is the first of this type from Fadal.

Founded in 1980 with an office in Lee's Summit, Maruka has grown and now offers sales, service and training facilities in Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Other lines offered by the company include: Mori Seiki, Standard Routers, Sheffield CMMs and Ingersol Milling Machines.
