CBA announces senior management changes.(Brief Article)

THE COMMONWEALTH Bank has made two senior executive appointments because of the impending retirement of customer service division head Alf Long and a new phase in the bank's international expansion program.

Both will report to managing director David Murray and join the bank's executive committee.

Gail Kelly took over from Long on January 10, though he is staying on for a while to assist the management transition.

Kelly, previously general manager strategic marketing, banking and financial services, brings a wealth of experience to the role.
