Saja Software, Inc., a leading developer of survey software, today announced new 2.0 releases of its Survey Select

and Survey Select Web/E-mail Module. These major upgrades will provide users with substantial feature improvements when designing, administering and analyzing surveys, and when using the Web/E-mail Module 2.0 to conduct surveys via e-mail or Web sites.

Survey Select 2.0 allows users to design, administer and analyze surveys via floppy disk, network, hard copy or PC. The Survey Select Web/E-mail Module 2.0 integrates with Survey Select to allow users to easily conduct surveys on either Web sites or via e-mail.

Customers turn to Survey Select 2.0 and the Web/E-mail Module to facilitate communication between customers, employees and other constituents. The products help companies leverage communications feedback and develop an ongoing surveying process as opposed to a random, single event approach. SURVEY SELECT 2.0

Survey Select 2.0 is a software tool for constructing a wide range of surveys, including employee and customer satisfaction, market research and education surveys. It is designed for use by human resources and training professionals, educators, association administrators, marketing professionals, research directors, or anyone who needs to easily gather and analyze survey data.

New features of the Survey Select 2.0 provide a higher level of sophistication to end-users. The design module includes the addition of a ranking scale, the ability to skip or branch questions on electronic surveys, the ability to archive (save) a customized scale to the database, and capabilities to create customized instructions for electronic surveys. The new version also allows users to add answers that do not count in data analysis (e.g., N/A, no opinion), delete archived questions and use search/replace and cut and paste functions.

SURVEY SELECT WEB/E-MAIL MODULE 2.0

After a survey is designed, Survey Select Web/E-mail Module 2.0 allows the survey to be generated into an HTML format that can be posted on the Web site or distributed via e-mail. Once a respondent has completed a survey, they simply click the submit button and the survey is sent back to the survey administrator via e-mail. The survey answers can then be imported directly into Survey Select 2.0 for analysis with no data entry.

New features allow users to interface electronic surveys to Survey Select 2.0 with more e-mail systems than Microsoft Exchange and Outlook, including Lotus Notes, CC Mail, GroupWise, and all MAPI and POP compliant systems. In addition, a new E-List feature allows users to monitor the progress of surveys on a regular basis. It also allows for e-mail reminders to be sent to encourage more survey responses, or to thank respondents for their participation.

Survey Select 2.0 is available immediately and is priced starting at $595.00. Survey Select Web/E-mail Module 2.0. runs together with the base Survey Select product and it is available immediately and is priced at $495.00. Quantity pricing and site licenses are also available. Operating requirements include a minimum of a Pentium PC running Microsoft Windows 95 or NT. A minimum of 12 MB available RAM is required with 20 MB or more recommended for optimal performance. Users must also have a Web browser and at least 10 MB of available disk space to install and run Survey Select and the Web/E-mail Module.
