Jodi Nesis Named Vice President, Corporate StrategicPlanning and Development, Warner Bros.

BURBANK, Calif.--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Dec. 1, 1998--Jodi Nesis has been named vice president, corporate strategic planning and development, it was announced Tuesday by Kevin Tsujihara, senior vice president, strategic planning and development, Warner Bros.

Nesis' duties will be focused

primarily on strategic initiatives and new business development with Warner Bros.' various television divisions -- domestic and international distribution, production, animation and The WB Television Network.

"Jodi's financial experience and analytical expertise will be a great asset as we grow our television businesses in the fast-changing global marketplace," said Tsujihara.

Nesis joined Warner Bros. in 1997 as director, corporate projects, and was part of a team that spearheaded the company's ongoing cost-management endeavors.

After obtaining her MBA from Harvard Business School, she joined McKinsey & Co. as a management consultant. Before attending Harvard, she was an investment banker at Lehman Bros. and an associate at Geotek Communications. She obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
