Golf's biggest annual events--the Masters, the U.S. Open, the PGA Championship and the British Open--are known as "the majors." Occupational safety has its "majors" as well, and two of them take place this month.

June 2-7, the American Industrial Hygiene Conference and Exposition (AIHce)--presented by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) and the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH)--comes to Philadelphia. June 24-27, Safety 2007--the American Society of Safety Engineers' (ASSE) Conference and Exposition--comes to Orlando, Fla.
