Tracking Weather-Related Risks.

Risk managers now have access to an Internet-based application, Climetrix, that offers the ability to track and analyze the weather-related risks to portfolios and individual contracts. The site (www.climetrix.com) was developed by the weather risk business unit of Menlo Park, Calif.-based Risk Management Solutions (RMS). It is designed to provide users with cleaned and enhanced weather data, analytical tools, and portfolio management tools. In addition, users have access to RMS's weather risk-related consulting services.
