Risk managers should take an active role in reducing litigation and reforming the legal system, according to David Snyder, vice president and assistant general counsel of the American Insurance Association. "You have a unique perspective to bring to these matters and you should do so, as informed citizens and professionals familiar with risk assessment and management," Snyder recently told the Risk and Insurance Management Society's Real Estate Risk Management Symposium.
