Geographic Data Technology, Inc. (Lebanon, NH), a developer of premier map databases, today announced that GDT's street, address and postal information will provide the geographic foundation for the demographic products and services from
ESRI will use GDT's Dynamap/2000(R), Dynamap(R)/5-Digit ZIP Codes, and Dynamap(R)/Carrier Routes to create demographic reports, maps, updates and forecasts. The agreement will also allow ESRI BIS customers to license any GDT product to support the geodemographic analysis provided by ESRI BIS products and services.
GDT's street and address databases provide complete and comprehensive coverage for the U.S. and Canada with up-to-date census and postal information. GDT is the only geographic data provider to offer the necessary information to link postal addresses and census information, a correlation that is critical to customers performing geodemographic analysis.
The ESRI BIS group, created in January after ESRI's acquisition of a division of CACI Corporation - the Marketing Systems Group, serves private sector and business customers with demographic data, segmentation, desktop software, and modeling and analysis products and services.
