The IT Compliance Institute (ITCi) to Host Conference in San Diego, CA.

One-of-a-Kind Conference Explores Issues Surrounding the Role of Technology in Regulatory Compliance

SEATTLE -- The IT Compliance Institute today announced the IT Compliance Conference will be held in San Diego, CA, November 5-7, 2007. The conference will bring together IT compliance leaders to explore effective strategies for pressing security, audit, implementation, and leadership issues.

This year's conference will start with a new, improved reprise of ITCi's increasingly popular "Boot Camp," featuring two tracks that cover IT compliance from either a leader-level perspective or an implementer's perspective. The remaining two days are dedicated to compelling courses, keynotes, panel discussions, and workgroup sessions covering topics such as:

* Compliance trends

* Implementation of quality-management compliance

* Audit and risk assessment

* Content management

* Data management for compliance

* Enterprise security and privacy

"Previous attendees tell us this is a great opportunity to sanity check with others in the trenches of IT compliance and security," says John Rapp, ITCi's director of education. "We encourage IT decision makers to bring their whole team. Not only will they spend quality time getting new information about security and audit issues, but their management team will get up to speed on implementation as well."
