THOMSON, the UKs largest tour operator, has launched an attack on the pricing and marketing strategy of rival MyTravel, by enforcing a boycott of MyTravel products across its UK travel agent network.

The boycott has seen all MyTravel products withdrawn from the shelves of Thomsons three travel agencies, including high street giant Lunn Poly.

The UKs third largest tour operator, Thomas Cook, has also adopted a similar position, pledging not to sell MyTravel products through any of its high street outlets.
