What Is the Best Way to Pack for a Business Trip?

* From  Date: Friday, March 7 2008

To save stress and ensure that you pack all the essentials for your next business trip, organize the business files you'll need into a binder or a series of binders and store all important contact names, numbers, and addresses in one place, such as on your cell phone or PDA. Packing only essential clothing will help you avoid checking luggage, and bringing an extra computer battery or charger will keep you from running out of power while working in transit. Finally, pack the essentials (plane ticket or boarding pass, credit cards, hotel confirmation, business papers, etc.) in a single bag so you're not rifling through multiple bags on the way out the door.
