InfoComm and Rental & Staging Systems Magazine Announce Staging Award Winners; Third Annual AV Awards Banquet at InfoComm 06 Celebrates Industry Excellence.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Tonight Rental & Staging Systems magazine and InfoComm International(R), the premier professional audiovisual trade association, presented its AV Design and Production awards at the third annual AV Awards Banquet. The event was held as part of InfoComm 06, the largest professional audiovisual and information communications trade show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.

The Rental & Staging Systems Awards honor outstanding accomplishments in design and AV production for a broad collection of staged events for both corporate and entertainment venues. Each entry is evaluated by a panel of judges and the InfoComm Rental and Staging Council. Entries are judged on the fulfillment of the event producer's concept, the professionalism of show production and execution, the advanced technology used in the event staging, the creative use of technology, and the satisfaction of the client.

Venue, Large Budget, Technology budget greater than $200K: Alford
Media Services, Inc., for the Jaguar/Corporate Magic, Jaguar
New Car Reveal.

Best overall staging for a Corporate or Association Event, Large
Venue, Technology budget less than $200K: CORP AV Audio Visual
Services, for "Canada's Telecommunications Hall of Fame".

Best overall staging for an Entertainment event: On Projecoes
(Brazil), for Sao Paulo Fashion Week

Best Use of AV Technology for a Trade Show Booth: AVW-TELAV Audio
Visual Solutions, for the Sci-Fi Channel Booth at the San Diego
Comic-Con International

Most Innovative Use of Technology, Outdoor Event: ACE Communications,
for the NYC Marathon 2005

Best Use of HD (High Definition) display in a Staged Event: LMG, Inc.,
for the Discovery Network
