Ecotage Salon & Spa Opens atLazarus.

This weekend, Lazarus customers at Tri-County Mall in Cincinnati, Ohio and Oxmoor Mall in Louisville, Kentucky can leave the stress and pressure of the world behind. At least for a few hours. These two Lazarus locations

have been tapped by Federated Department Stores, Inc. as test sites for Ecotage, a full-service Salon and Day Spa created exclusively by Federated. The Tri-County location opens on Friday, May 19 and the Oxmoor location debuts on Saturday May 20.

All of the Ecotage rejuvenating services are designed to treat the mind, body and spirit and are performed in a private, calming environment all by fully licensed experts. According to Arnie Orlick, chairman and ceo of the Rich's/Lazarus/Goldsmith's division of Federated Department Stores, Inc., the introduction of the new spa concepts fits hand in glove with the level of service that Lazarus strives to provide customers. "We recognize that time is a precious commodity for our customer and that time for relaxation and self-pampering is hard to come by. By providing a luxurious and relaxing environment within the store, the customer can take care of all of the family's shopping needs and still have a few minutes left for herself." He added, "It's our way of giving our customers a wonderful, new shopping experience." The retailer has plans to roll out additional spas at Lazarus in Lexington, Kentucky and at Rich's in Atlanta, Georgia for the Fall.

The spa will offer a full range of services including a full-service hair salon, manicures, pedicures, facials, massages and pampering packages. Salon hours will be Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

During the Grand Opening celebration, customers can register to win several spa services, including: "Sweet Relief Package", a half spa day, "Vichy Shower", "Hot Stone Massage", "Rose Petal Wrap", "Essential Facial", Haircut and Finish and a Spa Bag with robe, slippers, headband plus Aveda salts and aromatherapy candles. Ecotage will also give away several gifts-with-services.
