SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 14, 2001

Business Objects (Nasdaq:BOBJ), the world's leading provider of business intelligence solutions, today announced a consulting migration program for current Brio customers in North America. The purpose

of the program is to assist customers who wish to migrate their business intelligence solutions from Brio to Business Objects.

As part of this program, the company has introduced a fixed-price scoping and migration plan package. Delivered by the Business Objects North American professional services organization, the package is designed to provide Brio customers with a fast, fixed-cost method of determining the total amount of work needed to perform a migration, and to provide them with a realistic migration plan. This package is a formalized response to the increasing number of requests from customers who would like to switch from Brio to Business Objects, and is based on the best practices the professional services organization has learned from recent Brio migration projects.

"As business intelligence continues to increase in strategic importance, customers care more and more about partnering with a safe, market-leading vendor," said John Olsen, president and chief operating officer of Business Objects. "We have already assisted several organizations in migrating from Brio to Business Objects. Based on that experience, we decided to offer this package to any company that wishes to migrate from Brio to Business Objects."

In order to take advantage of this migration program, current Brio customers should contact Diane Johnson of Business Objects North American professional services, at 408/953-6248, diane.johnson@businessobjects.com.
