At S.W.I.F.T.'s Sibos conference today, SunGard (NYSE:SDS) announced that Omni IC and intelliMATCH EP are the latest SunGard solutions to achieve SWIFTReady Gold status.

They join SunGard's

Panorama Message Manager and MINT Knowledge Family, which achieved Gold Status in 1999 and 1998 respectively. SunGard's Global Plus also enjoys SWIFTReady Silver status. This latest achievement brings SunGard's total number of SWIFTReady Gold-labeled products to four -- more than any other company in the industry.

SWIFTReady labeling, introduced in 1998, provides a formula for benchmarking third party products that interact with messages that flow over the S.W.I.F.T. network. SWIFTReady labels identify products that are S.W.I.F.T.-compliant, integrate efficiently in a S.W.I.F.T. environment, increase traffic automation and improve straight-through processing (STP). SWIFTReady Gold is the higher of the two awards.

SunGard's Omni IC, Gold accredited in the securities category, is an on-line, real-time, multi-platform system for domestic or global custody accounting and service that includes multi-lingual, multi-booking and multi-currency processing capabilities. True platform scalability allows Omni IC to serve any size organization from a local emerging [pilcrow (paragraph sign)] market operation to the largest global custodian on the most efficient cost basis. SunGard's intelliMATCH EP, garnering SWIFTReady Gold status for reconciliation, is a rules-based matching engine for exception management and provides the reconciliation of multiple instruments including Nostro accounts, internal accounts, securities positions, movements, confirmations and advices.
