America Movil Q1 bucks global wireless slowdown. (North America: Mexico).

America Movil, a mobile phone company, reported moderate growth in the first quarter, once again setting itself apart from the stagnation that has hit mobile telecommunications worldwide.

First quarter revenues, operating profit and EBITDA all rose sharply compared with the same quarter last year, but the Mexican blue chip has changed a lot in the year, so analysts focused on moderate quarter-on-quarter growth.
