Genesee Corporation has announced results for the third fiscal quarter and thirty-nine weeks ended January 29, 2000. As a result of the December 16, 1999 announcement that Genesee Brewing Company had entered into an agreement to sell substantially all of its assets, results for the Corporation's brewing business were reported separately as "discontinued operations."

Results for the Genesee Corp.'s continuing operations include its Foods Division, equipment leasing business and real estate investments.
