HCL Technologies Limited (Bombay Exchange: HCL Technologies), a leading global information technology company, announced financial results for the second quarter of its fiscal 2000 year.

For the second quarter ended December 31, 1999, revenues increased 20% to a record $47.1 million, exclusive of the equity pick up from the joint venture with Perot Systems. This compares to revenues of $39.2 million for the prior year's second quarter ended December 31, 1998. Net income for the quarter increased 152% to $10.3 million. This compares to net income of $4.1 million for the second quarter of last year.

For the six months ended December 31, 1999, revenues increased 19% to $91.3 million, compared to revenues of $76.7 million for the same period last year. Net income for the six months ended December 31, 1999 increased 139% to $18.6 million, compared to net income of $7.8 million reported for the six months ended December 31, 1998.
