Digital Teleport Reports Record Second Quarter Bandwidth Revenues and Sales.

Digital Teleport Inc., a regional fiber optic communications provider for secondary and tertiary markets in the Midwest, today announced record bandwidth revenues and sales for the second quarter of 2002.

Teleport reported second quarter 2002 bandwidth revenues of $4.5 million, up 15.7 percent from $3.9 million during the same period one year ago. Revenue from its wireless carrier customers more than tripled to $1.4 million from $387,000 during the second quarter a year ago.

Second quarter 2002 bandwidth revenues were up 7.2 percent from $4.2 million in the first quarter of this year. Digital Teleport also signed record customer contracts with a total contract value in excess of $20 million.
