Auto Components Firm Moves to Troy, Mich., Leaves Some Jobs in Lockport, N.Y.

Apr. 17--Michigan-based Delphi Corp. left something behind when it moved its division headquarters from Lockport -- about one-third of its 150 headquarters jobs.

The auto components maker announced last fall that the headquarters of its former Harrison Thermal Systems Division would move to Troy, Mich., subtracting white-collar workers like sales, marketing and human resources from the area.

The move, officially effective on Jan. 1, has largely been carried out
