Feb. 10--PAWTUCKET, R.I. -- A difficult holiday season for toy retailers didn't seem to hurt Hasbro Inc. as the nation's second-largest toy company said its earnings rose 23 percent in the fourth quarter.
Sales of Beybade, FurReal Friends and Trivial Pursuit helped the Pawtucket company offset turmoil among retailers and restructuring charges that included the costs of closing both a manufacturing plant in Spain and Wizards of the Coast stores.
