PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The local RAJASTHAN RENEWABLE ENERGY CORP. recently awarded a solar power plant construction contract to RAJASTHAN ELECTRONICS & INSTRUMENTS LTD. (REIL) of India. According to the terms of the award, RE&I will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and maintenance of 10 Kw solar power plants in 27 villages in 7 districts of the state.

These are to be set up in the Banswara, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Karauli and Sawai Madhopur districts. The 27 remote villages of the 7 districts would be electrified through sol
