PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The local PETROCHEMICAL INDUSTRIES CO. (PIC) recently awarded a construction contract for a planned urea generation unit to a joint venture that teams-up KHARAFI NATIONAL of Kuwait and Italy- based TECNIMONT. According to the terms of the award, the partnership will be responsible for the provision of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services.
