INDIA: Construction contract award for $190,000,000 well platforms project, NATIONAL PETROLEUM...

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The local OIL & NATURAL GAS CORP. (ONGC) recently awarded an offshore platform construction contract to UAE-based NATIONAL PETROLEUM CONSTRUCTION CO. (NPCC). According to the terms of the award, NPCC will be responsible for the provision of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services.

The scope of the project includes the supply and installation of 4 well platforms. Two each will be set up in the Bassein and Heera fields off India's west coast. The development will also include associated sub-sea infield rigid pipelines and
