FCC/Necso/ACS jv has been awarded a $23 million contract to construct 1.3 km of line 9 of Madrid metro at Riva in an 8 m-deep cut-and-cover trench in eight months. The project is financed by Tres Cantos, a state-owned enterprise. The contract also includes extensions to the train depot and building of a new electricity substation.
