RUSSIA: Joint venture construction contract award for planned $315,000,000 commercial and luxury...

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The Russian government recently awarded a construction contract to a Spanish joint venture regarding a large-scaled urban site upgrade project. The partners in the planned undertaking include GRUPO FERROVIAL S.A, SEGURA CONSULTING ASSOCIATED a 50-man consulting firm that reportedly put the group's bid together and, CAJA DE MADRID, a bank. According to the terms of the award, the partnership will be responsible for transforming the Red Square 5, Sredniye Torgoviye Ryady property, into a retail, office and luxury complex.
