Changes to procurement rules aimed at boosting disabled veteran firms.(Contractors' Corner)

The federal Small Business Administration (SBA) has issued modified procurement regulations designed to boost federal contract opportunities for service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses, the agency says. The program became effective in early May, with the Federal Acquisition Regulatory Council (FAR) concurrently releasing regulations implementing the program.
