BE&K Construction to Participate in Expansion of Gas Plant for bp Natural Gas Liquids.

The Houston, Texas office of BE&K Construction Company has been awarded a contract from bp Natural Gas Liquids for the Pascagoula Gas Plant Expansion Project located in Jackson County, Mississippi. The gas

plant is jointly owned by bp Natural Gas Liquids and Enterprise Products Partners L.P. The Pascagoula plant processes natural gas from deepwater production in the Gulf of Mexico, which is transported onshore via the Destin pipeline. The expansion will be designed to process 900 MMSCFD and will incorporate layout and tie-in provisions to allow future conversion to a cryogenic process.

The scope of work for BE&K includes engineering, procurement, and construction. BE&K is also responsible for review and verification of the process and mechanical equipment design included in the Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) package furnished by bp. Construction will start in early November, 2002, on a direct hire basis using local labor along with selected BE&K personnel. Mechanical completion is scheduled for May 31, 2003.
