What obstacles have you overcome?

Gaining more confidence in the financial aspects of running a business.

Who has been the most influential

person in your career?

My sister, Marianne Carbone, who gave me the support and confidence I needed to dream, as well as a helping hand with the financial aspects of running a business.

How do you balance your home or personal life and work?

Living in community only enhances my work because there is always someone around to lend a helping hand. I am very fortunate to have wonderful friends who also help me out on a regular basis.

What is your advice to other women who want to succeed?

Don't give up on a dream; be flexible and be willing to adjust to the present need.

What are the core values that have been essential to your success?

Integrity, understanding, and patience.

What are the three most memorable highlights of your career?

Establishing the Gingerbread House Preschool Center, merging the preschool and opening the Gingerbread House Day Care Center, and creating NunBetter.
