Feb. 13--Manchester United's third-biggest shareholder has called on American billionaire Malcolm Glazer to table a formal offer for the English premiership football club so investors can "know where they stand".

Harry Dobson, the Scottish mining billionaire who stands to make a profit of more than [pounds sterling]30m if Glazer's takeover proposal goes through, told The Business he needed more details of the proposed bid before he could decide whether or not to sell his 6.5 percent stake.
