Carlson to sell Emerging Brands division. (news & events).(Carlson Restaurants Worldwide Inc.

Chefs and general managers at Carlson Restaurants Worldwide, Dallas, recently were told that the company is selling its Emerging Brands division, according to the Jan. 24 edition of the Dallas Morning News. This division consists of 21 restaurants, including the Star Canyon, Fish Bowl, Mignon, Samba Room, Taqueria Canonita and Timpano concepts.

The 21 restaurants will continue to operate, but Carlson is divesting them in order to focus on its T.G.I. Friday's and Pick Up Stix properties, the article stated.
